As a twosome, we ordered modestly (one soup, one seafood, one veggie & white rice, additional charge). I'm a Left Coast transplant who spent the first 65 years in Metro New York, and thus am very familiar with the Chinatowns in Manhattan and Queens, and their eateries. The reflex is to choose a restaurant that not only serves well-prepared dishes, but is also cheap & cheerful. After on Sunday lunch for two at Honey Court, Seattle's got a winner. Jade Garden and Hong Kong Seafood (on Rainier, not the Chinatown location) makes it just as good. Their honey walnut prawns are good, but not the BEST in Seattle. Now they changed the recipe to be like some other restaurants, which I don't like at all. As he was getting our daughter's blanket (I accidentally left it on a chair at our table, which was right next to the front), the waitress had the balls TO ASK HIM TO LEAVE TIP "FOR GOOD SERVICE."The only reason why I still kept coming here occasionally was because of their beef chow fun. Employees at chinese restaurants should complain about customers where the customers can't hear, especially if the customers can understand what they're saying. My husband paid for the bill at the front. We also heard her tell one of the other employees that we ordered chow mein in the first place.

I don't ever eat chow mein unless someone else orders it. My husband and I don't ever order chow mein. She talked and acted as if we ordered chow mein in the beginning, which pissed me off. We asked the waitress if we can have beef chow mein to go. After the chow fun came, he didn't want any of it and kept asking for the chow mein. My three year old told us that he wanted the chow mein, but I told him to wait until the chow fun came. We told them we ordered beef chow fun and they said they would switch it out. When that dish came, it was actually beef chow mein. At first, I said with gravy because that's how they usually asked me in the past (especially the waitress with glasses that works there a lot). The waitress kept repeating "beef chow fun?" at us, then one of the cashiers came over to us and asked the same thing, and also if we wanted it crispy or soft. Not coming back and telling everybody else I know not to come either.Along with ordering some dim sum items, honey walnut prawns, and steamed rice, we also ordered beef chow fun. Yes, their service sometimes sucks (like a lot of other asian restaurants), but after this experience, this is the last straw.
